Saudi Arabia has shared intelligence with the US warning of an imminent attack from Iran on Saudi and Iraq. US military personnel in the region have been placed on an elevated alert. The US says it stands ready to respond to Iran’s attacks. Saudi Arabia says Iran’s attacks will be an attempt at distracting from its growing domestic protests. This comes after the US and Saudi have been engaging in a war of words for the past few weeks.
